This is the last Will and Testament of me William Spensley of Feetham in the Township of Melbecks in Swaledale in the North Riding of the County of York Farmer I devise and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Ann Spensley All that my cophold houses and land situate at or within the Territories of Feetham with the appurtenances thereunto belonging And I devise and bequeath unto my Son William Thomas Spensley All that my copyhold houses and land situate at or within the Territories of LowRow with the appurtenances thereunto belonging And I charge the LowRow property with the payment therof of the borrowed money I may be owing at the time of my decease I order and direct that my Son and Daughter be admitted Tenants of their respective shares as above But not to receive the rents and profits during the life of their mother And as for all my personal estate and effects which I may be possessed of or entitled to at the time of my decease I give and bequeath the same unto my dear Wife Margaret Spensley for her own use and benefit absolutely And I also give unto her the yearly income rents and profits of all my copy hold estate situate at Feetham and Low Row as described above subject to the payment thereout of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the cost of proving this my Will And the cost and charges of my Son and daughter being admitted Tenants of their respective shares of the copyhold property And the payment of the yearly interest of any money or moneys I may have borrowed and due and standing against me at the time of my decease And I nominate constitute and appoint my Wife Margaret Spensley of Feetham near Reeth Richmond Yorkshire and my nephew George Appleton of Whitaside in Swaledale aforesaid Lead Miner to be my Executrix Executor and Trustees of this my Will. And hereby revoke all former or other Wills by me at any time heretofore made And I declare this Writing to be my last Will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the thirty first day of October One thousand eight hundred and eighty two
