This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Alderson of the New Inn near Keld in Swaledale in the parish of Grinton in the County of York Innkeeper and Farmer as follows that is to say I order and direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses to be paid by Executrix hereinafter named as soon as convenient after my decease. I give devise and bequeath to my dear wife Mary Alderson All my messuages lands Tenements and hereditaments of whatsoever [?]tenure the same may be and all money and securities for money And all other my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever situate to and for her own absolute use and benefit. And I hereby appoint my said wife Mary Alderson sole executrix of this my will hereby revoking all other wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be and contain my last will and testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this fourteenth day of may one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven.
