This is the last will and Testament of me John Spensley of Feetham near Reeth in the County of York Yeoman. I direct all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses to be paid by my Executor hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. I give and bequeath unto my Son Carter Spensley the legacy or sum of Nineteen guineas I give and bequeath unto my son James Spensley the legacy or sum of Fiftly pounds I give devise and bequeath unto my Son John Spensley and my said son James Spensley all that my freehold estate messuages lands tenements and hereditaments situate at or near to Feetham Holme in the parish of Grinton in the said county of York and all other my real estate wheresoever situate To hold to them the said John Spensley and James Spensley their heirs and assigns for ever I give and bequeath all my household furniture and effects farming stock implements and utensils and all other my personal estate and effects whatsoever unto my said son John Spensley and I appoint my said Son John Spensley sole executor of this my will In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this eighth day of June 1865 ~

The Testator John Spensley was late of Feetham near Reeth in the County of York Yeoman and died on the twenty seventh day of August 1865 at Feetham aforesaid
