This is the last Will and Testament of me James Peacock of Skeugh Head in the Township of Muker in Swaledale in the North Riding of the County of York Stone Mason. I give and bequeath unto my niece Alice Dalton the choice of my household furniture including my sofa a round table and brass pan and any other household furniture she may require also the sum of fifty pounds for her own use and benefit absolutely and as to my real property consisting of copyhold house and lands and the rest and residue of my personal estate and effects I give devise and bequeath the same both real and personal unto my nephew Christopher Peacock son of my brother John for his own use and benefit absolutely subject only to the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses the cost of this my will and the fifty pounds to my niece Alice Dalton on and before the expiration of twelve month after my decease and I nominate constitute and appoint my said nephew Christopher Peacock of Cragg Hall in the said Township of Muker to be my sole executor of this my Will and hereby revoking all former or other wills & testaments. In Witness whereof I the said James Peacock have set my hand the Tenth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eight two.
