This is the last Will and Testament of me Barnard Calvert of Satron in the Township of Muker, parish of Grinton and North Riding of the County of York miner and Farmer made the thirtieth day of May One thousand eight hundred and sixty eight. I hereby appoint my two sons James Calvert and George Calvert both of Satron in the said Township of muker miners the Executors of this my last Will and Testament. And I give unto my said Executors All and sundry my real and personal property whatsoever. In trust nevertheless that is to say I give to my two sons james Calvert and George Calvert my Executors All that parcel of copyhold land belonging to me situate in "Satron Side" and known by the name of "The little Allotment" with all the Appurtenances thereto belonging to themselves absolutely and to their heirs for ever. I also give to my said two sons herein named All my Cows Sheep Farming Stock Household Furniture Goods and Chattels and all money and personal property whatsoever that may belong to me at the time of my decease in equal shares to themselves absolutely with this provision that they shall pay out of my said Estate the sum of Fifty pounds sterling money to my Daughter Alice Calvert now of Satron within twelve months after my decease and should my said Daughter Alice Calvert die before the time named after my death then my Executors shall pay to or on behalf of her daughter Ann Calvert the sum of Ten pounds sterling. I also desire my Executors to pay all my just and lawful debts, the proving of this my last will and Testament and my Funeral expenses out of my estate. And this I declare to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this day and year first above written in the presence of the two subscribing witnesses.
